From Hwy 231 North (Dothan, Tallahassee) - These directions start at the intersection of Hwy 231 and Hwy 20. From the intersection, head south on Hwy 231 for about fifteen miles. Turn left (south east) onto Star Avenue (there is a stop light at this intersection). You will see a surplus store, gas station, liquor store and rail road tracks east of this intersection. Immediately after turning onto Star Avenue, turn left onto John Pitts road. The gas station is on this corner. Travel two miles east and look for a green sign marked "Model Airplane Flying Field" on your right. This road is also the entrance for Bay Dunes Golf Course. Follow this road one half mile and you should see a white/red gate. This gate is usually open unless no one is around. Follow the road past the gate, around the bends and the field will be on your left!
