Our flying field is located in the Harder's Park Recreation Complex, behind Bay Dunes Golf Course. The complex is located north of Panama City, just off Hwy 231. The land is donated by the Bay County Commission. We welcome out of town visitors to fly at our field. Please review our field rules below. |
Our frequency control is the standard clothespin numbering system. Please remember to always impound your radio as soon as possible upon arrival at the field. Your AMA card is required to obtain a pin whenever you are ready to fly. Please do not ever turn your transmitter on at the field unless you have removed the pin from the frequency control board and have it attached to your transmitter. New fliers should always have the assistance of a veteran flier during their fist few visits to the field. For your convenience we have members who are listed as 'instructor' on the club roster. Many aircraft represent a sizable investment of time and money. Most heartbreaking crashes can be avoided if strict rules of frequency control are followed.
We ask that you review the AMA flying rules and comply with these rules so that your AMA insurance will be effective.
